Kratos is my step-brother...! (God of War 3 Review)

Hah ! After 25 crazy hours of playtime and 2 playthrough I managed to obtain the Platinum Trophy for God Of War 3 ! Any longer and i'm going to get Finger Arthrits. Since I spent 25 waking hours, I'm going to write a review on it for anyone out there wants to achieve full 100% game completion.

If you're indolent to do so, read the summary below,

1) Play on God Mode (Hard) if you're aiming for 1 playthrough. (BEWARE, not failing or dying in the labyrinth and beating the Cerberus Breeder is a pain in the bowel...!!)

2) Print a version of the "locations of chests and godly possessions". Most reliable guide : http://guides.ign.com/guides/886158/page_3.html Collect Minatour Horns, Pheonix Feather, Gorgon Eyes (just need 12 for each), and ALL the Godly Possessions..

3) Level-up/Upgrade Blades of Exile and Nemean Cestus first before other weapons.

4) After obtaining the Bow of Apollo, just keep burning 100 different enemies till you receive the It's getting hot in here....Trophy.

5) After obtaining the Head of Helios, again, keep "shinning" 100 different enemies till you receive the Nice Tan throphy.

6) Right after defeating Hades, you will receive the Claws of Hades, in a room full of skeleton enemies, keeping using L1 and O to attack the enemies till you have a 1000 hit combo. Beware : Do not upgrade Claws of Hades and don't use R2,it stops spawning enemies. This would enable you to get the Hit Man trophy.

7) After seeing the Poseidon Princess, the next room is filled with dogs that spawns infine hounds.

Just press O to 50 different hounds and you'll receive the Obedient School trophy.

8) Make sure you rip apart one olympus sentry and three centaur general. Just click O when you see them.

9) Completely upgrade your weapons when you have enough red orbs before the end of the game.

10) After max upgrade the Claw of Hades, change different Souls from the weapon menu and toggle R2 for Souled Out Trophy.

P/S: To obtain the aMAZEd trophy, when you reach the labyrinth don't die or fail..! If you do, don't save or restart at checkpoint..!

Start all over again from the start of the labyrinth. If you still can't, go search on some tutorial videos on youtube..)

After beating the game, complete all five the Challenges of Olympus. Again, search on youtube for some handy tutorial videos.

Basically, all the other trophies are related to the story or are very hard to be missed...!

My advise,

1 Hard God Mode Playthrough if you're an expert..

1 Easy Spartan Mode and 1 Hard God Mode if you're new...

1 Medium Titan Mode and 1 Hard God Mode if you're so-so... (like me)

1 God Mode and 1 Chaos Mode if you're insane..!

FFXIII is finally out in Japan ! After the long awaited thirteenth installment of the Final Fantasy Series ! However, the japanese illiterate, have wait a little more for the English version when it comes out in March 2010. The Japanese version gameplay videos are already available all over Youtube ! But nothing beat playing and experiencing it yourself...


Anyways.... I'm here to promote the Square Enix Play Arts Action Figure - Lightning !

Details are quite dissapointing thou... From my perspective, It looks rather odd especially the facial features... Something is not quite right somewhere.. But I'm impress with the details in that outfit ! Not to mention the gunblade !

Final Fantasy XIII Shiva Bike !

Both "Shiva" and the "Bike" are detachable and would form a single motocycles, imitating the Shiva Bike as shown in Final Fantasy 13 the Game !

Its comes with a heavy price tag too...! $200USD !

GO PSP GO !

When Sony launches the PSP GO in M'sia, I'm so gonna be the first in-line to get it ! To get free goodies !! However, I doubt that I have enough money to buy it by then. Hopefully, the price tag would be below rm900. Sony announced that the PSP Go will be available in stores in North America for $249 by October 09.

The PSP GO has a flash memory of 16GB, has no UMD drive and is 43% lighter than the current PSP-3000.

Nope... PSP GO is not a replacement of the current PSP models (that's what I read)
It's a whole new species.

Worst of all, it can;t play pirated games (we usually download like nobody's business the last time) just like the PSP-3000.

Luckily, Dissidia (JAP) came out last year.
But we wont be playing Metal Gear Solid : Peace Walker for granted.

Sony is taking about money now.. $$

Rock Band Unplugged PSP Modification

Phew.. I thought I'll never get my hands on the new rock band game on the psp.. My psp started to give me "there are no games" after I placed the rock band file inside. And I thought my PSP had a Virus !!! NO wonder my friend actually LOL!!!!!!
when I told him my about my PSP...
ME : OH no !! Can you believe it?! My PSP got a virus !!
KG : What??!!! what happened??
ME : After I donwloaded Rock Band into my PSP, all my other games , GONE !!
KG : HAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH !!!!!!!!!!!!! That's not a virus !!!!! It's just a technical glitch...
ME : =.=

And so, I didnt play Rock Band because everytime I download it into my psp, my games are gone and I have to reformat my memory card again and again...


Thanks to Google, I managed to find the solution and I'm sharing it with you Rock Band fans out there...!

The PROBLEM: rock band automatically deletes the GAME Folder. Therefore, the PSP will display "there are no games"

To fix this problem.. First, connect your psp to your computer. from your pc, create a .txt file or create/dump/copy/cut "any" file inside the GAME file..

any file would do.. a mp3 or a doc file will do the trick. an empty .txt is preferred because it absolutely takes up no space at all.

And TADA !!!! Your rockband is working and your psp is as HAPPY AS A CLAM !

PS2 & PS3 Final Fantasy Tech Demo

Gosh.. I remembered the last time I saw SquareEnix showing off PlayStation2's graphics capabilities, I was like......... WAHHH !!!
Because at that time, we were comparing PS1 and PS2...
Computer graphics has come and gone a long way. With Japan, game console graphics has improved dramatically.
My dad used to tell me, when he was at my age, there were only games like PONG, a table tennis video game in monochrome (it's the same one as seen in the movie "wall-e")
Then, there were the revolutionary Space Invaders !! Where you shoot shoot shoot all the aliens spacecraft. The theme song was "deng deng deng dengdeng dengdeng dengggggggggggg............." Those days, they were like FINAL FANTASY 13 to me ! LOL ! I can't imagine living in those days..

FFX International

I've been playing FFX International in Japanese all this while and it never occur to me that at the beginning of the game, you could choose the type of sphere grid (International Version or Original Version) and language (Japanese or English)... All because the questions were asked in Japanese ! I would do like any Japanese-Language-Handicap would do.... *A.E.I.O.U* which answer would I pick....
Thankfully, eventhough I wrongly picked Japanese but the subtitles were in English ! At lease I knew what was going on. But, till now, I'm not sure whether I picked the International Sphere Grid or the Original Sphere Grid....
I recently found out about it and also the translation. For those who suffered the same faith as me, here's a chance to replay your Final Fantasy X in your desired configurations.

I have 2 months of holiday in my hand... (with exceptions of Moral Classes on every Saturday)...

My CLOUD has arrived !!!

Finally, the Cloud Strife has arrived !! AND in one piece well... not exactly.... 1 head, 2 legs, 1 sword and 5 hands...
Just as the seller promised.... It would arrived about 7-14 days...! It came on the 12th day... but sadly, the box that came with it was in quite a bad condition.. I would blame on the MALAYSIAN CUSTOM !! Open the box and never even bothered to put it back nicely... So, when it came, the box was 20percent damaged !!! Now its not even in mint condition.. CIS.. geram betul... But, you win some you lost some, right? But the best part is that my grandma didn't even complain a single bit ! She was also exited about Cloud !! Seriously, she took Cloud and bent his leg 90 degrees backwards. (x.x)... Hope she didnt broke his leg...

Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn REVIEW

And YES, with my busy schedule and all, I'm still addicted to my Nintendo Wii and PSP....
I want to promote a "new" game I found for the Wii

its kinda like a strategy plus adventure game... Characters are control like in Chess and if they die in the war...*take note* They die....no reviving potion....
I like the whole story at first... It's about this group called the Dawn Brigade wanting to restore their kingdom called Daien. The main character is called Micaiah a.k.a The Silver Haired Maiden. Who posses healing powers and some sort of six sense. So, technically, people of her country call her a savior and a goddess. In Part 1 she and her "gang", will fight against Begnion Kingdom to save her country....

I dont really get the story line... It is much too complicated even I tried to read all the conversation and the explanation. There are too many characters involves... the dawn brigade, the Laguz which consist of the cat, beast, wolf,raven and hawk tribe (i mean hawk and raven? whats the difference? both look almost the same!!), Daien Kingdom, Crimea Kingdom, Begnion Kingdom, the Holy Mercenaries and some angels which I cant differentiate the princes and princesses cause ALL OF THEM HAVE WHITE WINGS, AND LONG BLONDE HAIR !!!

whats worst is the in PART 2 and PART3 of the story, is that it's not about the dawn brigade and the silver haired maiden anymore.... what is it about, then? Its about Crimea and their queen and their rebels.... Then, in Part 3 its about the Laguz Alliance against the Dawn Brigade(Daein)
Sometimes, everyone is the good and also the bad guys... Is at which perspective you are judging at.....

Oh yeah... cut scenes.... I must mention about the cut scenes.... the graphics are pretty impressive... And while playing this game, looking forward to the cut scene will make you continue to play the game....

Final Fantasy 13 !! WOoHooo !!!

Square Eniq has produced yet another magnificent Final Fantasy series.... !!! Due to release on May !! This new series features a "strawberry blond hair" girl called Lighnting... Anyway, that's only her codename because she lost her past memory dues to some form of amnesia.. (according to wikipedia) I must agree that she does look like a female version of Cloud... If she were blond she would look like Cloud's elder sister.. From the way I look at the trailer, the battle system look pretty cool... You know how silly it is the battle system in FF7,FF8,FF9,FF10... I didnt find it stupid until I played FF12...
Another "add-on" to FF13 is called Final Fantasy 13 versus... (versus what?).. From the trailer it looks like some kinda "prince" who really needs anti-depression pills... He's like so bored... Look at the way he kills the enemy, way less than emotion-less.. Although, he looks pretty cool with all the weapons magically appeared...release date 15 December 2008

Only problem.....
I need a PS3 which cost about RM2000 bucks ! X,X (ka-ching-$$)
I need 2000 days if I were to save RM1 a day... that's almost 6 years !!!" awww"
